Mobile Hub
Mobile Youth Wellness Hub
MiND-AID and B’saanibamaadsiwin are launching a Mobile Youth Wellness Hub with support from a youth advisory team and a couple dozen different service-providing friends.
Our large converted motorhome and dynamic collaborative team will:
-
Increase our reach to countless new youth across Muskoka and beyond colonial boundaries to Indigenous communities
-
Deliver edutaining activities to youth
-
Help youth navigate to a wide array of services, care and resources
Why a Mobile Hub?
The District of Muskoka and area First Nations communities are widespread and underserved, with a lack of transit.
How will it work?
Our Integrated Youth Services Hub will roll out in the fall of 2024. We will bring along a variety of service providers and traditional knowledge carriers and we will invite young people to participate in social, ceremonial, recreational & educational activities.
Trusted relationships will lead to important conversations and connections to mental health & addictions care, primary health care, financial support, food security programs, housing, employment & education supports, cultural & social supports and more.

Where will the wellness hub visit?
Our Hub Team will post where and when we will be stopping in different communities, while maintaining a special focus on remote and underserved areas.
